アプリへのアクセスをnginxで受けてpumaとソケット通信をさせたいです。

dockerでrails+mysqlの環境で開発していたのですがnginxを導入したいと考えてルート配下にnginxというディレクトリを作成しその中にdockerfileとnginx.confを作成し設定しました。
そしてpuam.rbの設定も終えその後にdocker-compose build , docker compose upし
localhost:80にアクセスすると502エラーが帰ってきます。

logをみてみるとpuma.sockを発見できなかったということなのですが原因が分かりません。
他に何か書き方でおかしいところがあればお教え願いたいです。
また、nginxのvolumesを書いているとそんなのないと言われたので消してしまいました。
